James Hardaker

1986 : Started diving at the age of 8, for Bradford Esprit School of Diving.

Throughout career: Gained medals at national and county levels holding several Yorkshire and North Eastern counties titles on 1m 3m and platform.

1990: Represented North Eastern Counties Vs Scotland

1992: Competed in Strasbourg France

1993: Competed in Lyon France

Gaining top 10 finishes on 1m 3m and platform.

Dived through until 1995

1997: Began coaching casually as an assistant for Bradford Esprit, continued to coach part time up until 2002.

2002/3: Coached at Wellington Diving Club for 6 months

2003 - Present: September named as head coach for Wellington Diving Club

2005: Named as Head coach for Pacific School Games team

2005 – Present: Named as a New Zealand Selector

2005: Won Diving New Zealand Coach of the Year

2005: Implemented a Level 1 coaching manual for Coaches within New Zealand

2006- Present: Named as Head Coach for Diving New Zealand Elite Squad

2006: Won Diving New Zealand Coach of the Year

2007: Named as New Zealand Coach for Australian Junior Elite Championships
